Tonight I’m hopping on a plane and jetting off to Eastern Europe! Read on to find out exactly where I’m going and what I’m planning to do and see (and buy) on my trip.
Hello friends. As promised, here is a list of items to dump. If you’re somewhat of a hoarder (or a complete hoarder like I was), then use this as your first step to a more organised, clutter-free home and a minimalist lifestyle. These are things that you don’t use, and shouldn’t have lying around and taking up space in your home. They drain your energy and give you sleepless nights. It’s time to give them the boot.
Those of you who know me really well probably just did a double-take on this post title, thinking ‘no, this couldn’t be written by Annemie’. Well, you’re wrong. It’s true. Read on to see where, when, what, why, and HOW. Read more
I’m a tad late jumping on to the first post of 2017 bandwagon, but rather late than never.
It’s the start of a new year, and synonymous with New Year is new year’s resolutions, hopes and dreams of achieving great things, an abundance of positivity and determination, and more. Now my question: is it really necessary to try and reinvent yourself every year? Here’s my opinion on all that, and my goals for the year.
My life is currently in a bit of a slump. (No, it’s been one heck of a slump. One of the worst I’ve ever experienced in my short life span.) But I can feel that I am slowly but surely making my way through to the other side, and that I’m coming out on top. After doing some reflecting and soul searching I’ve realised that I cannot be the only one going through these kinds of phases, and that writing about it will not only help myself, but surely provide some perspective to someone else going through the same thing. I’ve come up with a short list of feasible (read: obvious, should be easy but doesn’t always feel that way) actions which can help you, just as they are helping me, to get out of your slump.
I’m turning 25 this year which is kind of a big deal. And with a big deal age comes big deal presents (well at least I think it should totally be that way). So without any further adieu, here is my 25th Birthday Wishlist.
My most recent logo design for a friend’s new business.
This was an e-mailer for an internal drive in our company.
My cousin is getting married in April, so naturally I jumped at the opportunity to design their wedding invites!
It’s a new year which means new things (at least to me it does). I recently became a first-time home owner and am currently in the last phase of renovations. There is still a whole list of things I need to complete my house (and my life), but here are a list of things I WANT this year.
I’ve recently given my friend Shawn’s CV a fresh new look. Take a peek and let me know what you think!
You’re probably thinking this list contains things like go to gym, eat healthy, stop drinking and all the other cliché things which people usually consider as New Year’s resolutions. Well, they aren’t on here, but some of mine probably are cliché. Just read them anyway.
